what is Creatorium?
Creatorium is an idealist organisation, and its serving main purpose is to offer a platform for international project activities on the behalf of the interests and ambitions of its members.
The organisation aims to implement projects locally and internationally within the frames of the Erasmus Plus Programme, EEA Grants, the Nordic Council etc.. The main profile of the organisation is to front creative multitude, active learning methods, community building, internationalism and global awareness, with special thematic focus on the self-development needs and the creative expression of its beneficiaries, whenever possible, including various marginalised* groups of youth. Its strategic focus for 2021-27 encompasses mental health, nature reconnection, entrepreneurship, creativity in art and expression, experimental learning, gamification and methods development, youth unemployment and radicalization, rural development as well as regional integration of efforts towards these goals on behalf of members, regional and national partners.
*Marginalized in Norwegian context, as residents of sparsely populated areas, of troubled past, from low income families, or minority/immigrant/refugee in the process of integration.
The organisation is based on years of experience in Erasmus Plus and similar ordinances, held by its members, being a formalisation of a former informal group working for different organisations with different network backgrounds. As of now it consists of five paid staff, twelve active members, and a large number of participants, candidates, associates, beneficiaries and stakeholders, involved in local and/international projects we administer.
Creatorium has cultivated its relationship with the owners and staff of the Vindfjelltunet Resort, whom are our friends, family and organisational members, providing an ideal location for gatherings, community events, arrangements and hosting for projects beyond our own activity. As a central location and base-camp for the projects of other active regional organisations, we also support integrated efforts of regional partners and their candidates for participation in relevant local and international projects.
